This workshop aim to underline the “secret sauce”, that conceptual point that you can’t directly observe, which is the secret behind successful Social Media profiles and campaigns. If interested in understanding the psychological architectures that lay behind the Social Media world, then this course is for you. After that, you’ll even be able to apply their winning principles on your own work.

What can psychology tell us about production and consumption of Social Media? You can discover it during this workshop, an interactive class tending to analyze how psychological processes play out in Social Media. We’ll introduce the psychology of Social Media and we’ll show some principles that you can use to understand it. We’ll discuss the psychology of human-Social Media interaction and present a communication model that explains how people interact with these platforms usually.
By the end of the session, you’ll be better equipped to distinguish why some online profiles are successful, and others miss the mark. You will have learnt what systems can be used to understand the others and yourself attitude on Social Media.
Whatever device able to connect on Social Media. Computer is recommended but not necessary.
Dot Lung is an international Social Media Strategy Consultant & co-founder of the virtual reality and 360° media production house, 360VR.BARCELONA. She helps entrepreneurs and creatives businesses develop digital communication strategies to maximize the power of social media & virtual realty to increase the success of their online marketing efforts. Having worked on cross cultural campaigns in over a dozen countries, she's been behind the launch of social media campaigns for the world's most recognized new media art brands and technology festivals: Motiongrapher, F5 New York, OFFF Barcelona, Reasons To Be Creative UK, and Sónar+D.
She's also the master of Facebook advertising strategies for brands like Volkswagen, Mattel, Fisher-Price, and many many more. She's a professor of Social Media Marketing & Advertising at the Universitat de Barcelona, ESdesign Barcelona and the Startup Academy. Her favorite social media network is Facebook and Snapchat.
